Nakama Regional

Nakama Regional has been formed by Nakama London and former owner of Big fish Nicola Kleinmann. Nakama Regional successfully places candidates from senior board level down to entry level Graduate roles in all creative and marketing sectors.
The business worked in the UK regions covering all key cities, such as, Bristol, Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds.

Nakama acquired Big fish in 2011 and Nicola is now heading up Nakama Regional, a business that is dedicated to the creative and marketing industry and able to place people on a contract and permanent basis in all agency and client sectors nationally.

Nicola started her career in a sales and marketing capacity,
working for both large blue chip client side organisations and in client services within the advertising industry. A naturally creative thinker, with a flair for sales, she excelled in PR and marketing campaigns and had a great track record in pitch wins on the agency side.

15 years ago Nicola took the move into the recruitment world as she felt her ability to connect with people was strong and her industry knowledge would be a refreshing change to assist both clients and candidates. She has subsequently worked with hiring managers from both multi-national companies to start-up agencies in the digital, creative and marketing sector.

Cutting her teeth at leading marketing recruiter, Major Players,
Nicola was made a Board Director after just 18 months in recruitment and given responsibility for the P&L of their UK regions office. After building a successful business, Nicola went on to establish her own brand in the market place, Big fish Search & Selection Ltd in 2002.
